Upon client approval of our mood board, we began sourcing and procuring the necessary items to bring our vision to life. Key design elements included carpets, pottery, and Ramadan lights. Our major challenge was identifying a color that would harmonize with the hues of Marrakech's buildings to paint the exterior of the café. The pop-up was a resounding success, featuring various activity zones beyond seating areas, such as carpet-making workshops, retail spaces, an entertainment stage, and photo booths.
For marketing, we utilized the café's social media platforms, influencer collaborations, and user-generated content (UGC). From captured photos of the new menu, activities, and setup for content to curating a list of influencers aligned with our target audience, this strategy resulted in over 2,000 pieces of UGC, a 1.8% increase in followers, and doubled the sales target.
